Making the Most of Your Machine Applique
3 Hour Workshop or 6 Hour Workshop
Improve your machine applique techniques with more than just the basics. Learn how to do so much more with satin-stitching, blanket-stitching and the decorative stitches on your machine. Fusible and non-fusible methods will be covered as you make a small wallhanging. The center block from the Tea for Two quilt will be provided to each student. The full pattern will be available for purchase. Supply List.
If tea is not your style, this workshop is also offered with two designs from the Gorgeous Gourds pattern. The crooked gourd and the fat squatty gourd designs will be provided to each student. The full pattern will be available for purchase. Supply List.

6 Hour Workshop
You don't have to be an artist to dress like one! This class will allow you to take a basic jacket or vest pattern and jazz it up with a multitude of design elements including applique, piecing and embellishments. Let your creative muse take over to create your own "one-of-a-kind" piece of wearable art. (Some basic knowledge of clothing construction is required to finish your garment.)
Cutie Patootie - Machine Applique
6 Hour Workshop
Fusible applique techniques, peek-a-boo blocks, dimensional pinwheels, and adding texture with a variety of machine stitches and chenille, this class will provide you with the skills needed to add fun techniques to any quilt. The bunnies block and the ladybug block patterns will be provided to each student. Patterns will be available for purchase which contain other designs for either girl, boy, or gender neutral blocks. 6 Hour Workshop
Any of my original designs may be used as a workshop. Simply choose one of my patterns and you will learn fun and easy applique techniques. Special emphasis will be focused on improving your machine stitching. We will cover all aspects of your quilt such as layering, and free-motion quilting designs.
